Global Warming Ready

DIESEL combines there new season fashion with the "globe warming " concept into their advertisement. Look at their posters, we see desertification occur in the great wall and jungles around Paris and London.

Although It is composite image, but as we know, is it possible to happen in the future. And we certainly not looking forward the day comes.

The design of DIESEL's new advertisements not only remind people to face the global warming issue, but also convey a message that no matter it is desertification or deluge, you can always enjoy this brand. The thing is, as a student of design, I think that whenever we are think of design, we can always think of the ecology.

Chocolate fondue!

One of my favorite sweet is CHOCOLATE FONDUE! It sounds fancy, but actullay very easy to make. This desert was originally from Switzerland, and now has become one of the most popular deserts in the world. The steps are so simple that I am sure you will be surprised of.

First, go to buy lots of chocolate bricks, including dark and milk ones. Others like marshmallows, sponge cakes, and some fresh fruits, normally would be strawberry or banana.

Second, find a stove or a candle that can keep heating the pot. Break the chocolate bricks into pieces and melt them together. Remember the best proportion for dark chocolate and milk chocolate is 2:1. But you can change it or even add some brandy to make your personal flavor.

Keep stirring the chocolate to make the mix perfect. After all the above steps, the last and the simplest step is to dip the fruit in melted chocolate with long sticks. Fruit and sponge cakes are better to be cutted in a mouthful size. Now, you can enjoy your fondue! Isn’t that easy?

Pride and Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite movie in my entire life!! Not only the new version movies but also the old BBC one, and the novel! It talks about love that between the upper classes of society and the commonalty. The pure of love, pride, and prejudice. It also gives us a glance to the lifestyle in England in 18th.

In the movie, I enjoy the bravery buildings, splendid balls, resplendent dresses and the British country seat and views. There are breathtaking beautiful precipices and countless sheeps there in the big , wild green filed. It's so interesting to see the lifestyle in old Britain which attracted me so much! That's the place where I want to go or to live.

the Illustrator practice

In the beginning of our graphic design class, there was a homework which we had to practice using illustor to make 40 different patterns.

For the first time, I started with so many questions and confusion. Something really simple to others could be so complicated to me. But after all, I am glad I catch up through practice. With those hundreds different kinds of typefaces, is was really fun doing all these.

" Practice makes perfect, " I believe.

My comments on creativity

I want to talk something about he creativity. We would probably think of creativity connecting art, design, even music. Magazines which talk about creativity have filled up the bookstacks in all of the book stores. “Design of Design”, “Bathroom Design”, “Art Design”, and so on, the titles of the books would be countless. It is the age of creativity.

Nevertheless, creativity pigments all of our lives. It can’t be limited in specific subjects. With out creativity, we would not know the “big people” such as Bill, Beethoven, Einstein, even the magician David. In my opinion, the substance of creativiy is to “make something out of nothing”.

What? If creativity comes out of nothing, how could we train ourselves to be more creative? In fact, we could practice and simulate somthing we have known, then born the terminate product “creativity”. For example,we could disassemble all kind of locks in the whole world with making a study of their structures. Secondly, we can use our information to open all the locks of others with no bad intention. At last we can invent the most lock on the earth. That would be a great thing for all people.

We could read all kinds of novels with understanding the beauties and defects of different articles. We can then try to write out own novels; furthermore, we could even write a “thing” that cannot be categorized in any literary form, such as “funovel”!

Some English teacher would be more attentive than the others, they find out the best way for learning for students is to interact, so they go to foreign counties to simulate the type of teaching from the teachers. Amazingly, they can create a new program that does not lose the center “interact” but fits especially the students in Taiwan.

Now, we can aware how important that being creative is. Creativity could never be gifted for any genius. It is a sweet apple for men who have been well-prepared. The numerous amount of sweat is the only avenue for reaching the apple. When we have our own stuff that others can not tell what it is, we succeed!
